Introduction to concepts and practical considerations when designing and deploying robots in medical and surgical contexts. Topics include roles of robots in healthcare, case studies of modern medical robotic systems, interface and control strategies for surgical robots, human-robot safety, and an engineering-focused survey of clinical and hospital medicine.
