Title

The Title tag is inserted in the "A href" element as an alternative description for a link URL.

Browsers

Title content will appear in a small pop-up box when rolled over by the cursor in Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator.

Adaptive Technology

Title will not be read by Home Page Reader when tabbing or moving through a document. JAWS does not read link titles by default.

Note: this differs from the Alt tag which will be read by Home Page Reader and JAWS.
