I began my position at the University in August 2005. In the past, I have worked with Union program boards and all different types of student organizations in planning small and large events. My role at Michigan is to advise groups in planning events in Hill Auditorium, the Power Center, Lydia Mendelssohn Theatre, and Rackham Auditorium. I reserve these facilities for student groups, and work with them in making arrangements, which can include hiring sound and lighting companies, professional stagehands, and contracting performers. I also help groups doing smaller shows, such as talent shows and fundraisers, to work out the details to make their events a success.

In addition, I facilitate rental of the facilities to groups not affiliated with the University. These renters include major concert promoters, small performing arts presenters, and local community organizations. I enjoy working with student groups, and am frequently impressed by the creativity and enthusiasm demonstrated by the students at the U of M.
