- Club members need to accumulate 10 points this year to be considered active
members of USAC. Members can earn one point for each hour they spend at a USAC
activity. Active members are eligible to run for board positions at the end of
the year. Please sign in at any USAC events or meetings you attend to ensure you
receive your points. For questions about your points or attendance, please email
alanako@umich.edu
- USAC's 12 committees introduced themselves and gave an overview of their goals
and plans for the year. You can check out committee descriptions on USAC's
website at http://www.umich.edu/~usac. Please email alanako@umich.edu for
updated contact information for any committee co-chairs you are interested in
contacting.
- The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Light the Night fundraiser walk is THIS
FRIDAY, October 5, at Gallup Park in Ann Arbor. To register for USAC's team,
please go to http://teams.lightthenight.org/usac. For more information, please
email Amanda King, athletic committee co-chair, at kamanda@umich.edu
- Amanda and Amber of the Athletic committee organized a can drive this Sunday
in Ann Arbor to raise funds for Light the Night. Thanks to all club and board
members who helped!
- October is Breast Cancer Awareness month! The BCA committee has a Diag day
planned for October 8. The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk is also
coming up on October 20. To get involved with either activity, please email
Laura at lbourdon@umich.edu.
