Apron

The apron is closely associated with work and craftsmanship; it also separates the upper and lower parts of the body, thus distinguishing the diverse energies related to those regions. It covers the sexual organs, hiding sexuality. The apron can also denote fertility. If a woman's apron falls off, it is usually a bad omen, foretelling bad luck or an unwanted child within a year. However, there is also the notion that an apron put on from back to front can bring good luck.
