Aloe
This plant is largely connected with bitterness, which leads to an association
with suffering and repentance. Aloe can be used for the treatment of burns and
dry skin, and in this way can be connected with healing and soothing. According
to Hebrew custom, it was mixed with myrrh and cassia in order to embalm Christ.
