Who Are We?

OATS is a student organization founded in August 2008 by former transfer students to help incoming students adjust to campus.

We offer you all that we've learned about the ins and outs of campus-life, academia here at the University of Michigan, a place to socialize and meet others in various stages of confusion or adjustment similar to your own, and anything else we can think of that we wish someone had offered us when we came here!

We will be holding scheduled social events, study nights, volunteer opportunities, and much more. Click on the "Calendar" link at the bottom of the page to see a calendar of events to come.

OATS is also on Facebook which is free for everyone, but our main site is on CTools. When you join as a member you will be added to the CTools site, and be able to interact with all other members, access resources, and details about events. Oh, and there's a free T-shirt. ;)
