Take I-75 south to Exit 122 toward Oak Ridge on Clinton Highway, TN-61. Within 20 minutes, you will pass a blue Oak Ridge "Welcome" sign on your right. Continue 0.3 miles after the "Welcome" sign to the first stoplight after the sign. Turn left at the stoplight onto Melton Lake Drive. The race site is 1.2 miles ahead on the left. OR From I-81, head south to I-40 West. Follow the directions from the EAST to the race site.

Take I-40W to Exit 393 at I-640 west. From I-640 take Exit 3B toward Clinton on TN-25W. Continue 12 miles through the town of Powell to the stoplight in Claxton. Turn left on to Edgemoor Road (TN-170). Go 3 miles. You will pass the TVA Bullrun Steam Plant and then cross the Edgemoor Bridge to the first stoplight. Turn right on Melton Lake Drive. The Oak Ridge Rowing Association Boathouse is 2.2 miles on your right.

Take I-40E to Exit 376 (Maryville/Oak Ridge) toward Oak Ridge on the Pellissippi Parkway (TN-162N). Go to Exit 376 (Maryville/Oak Ridge) toward Oak Ridge on the Pellissippi Parkway (TN-162N). The exit ramp is long, approximately 0.8 miles. Continue about 6 miles to TN-162 where that road merges into TN-62 "Oak Ridge Highway." Take TN-62 west through Solway (a small town) and over the Clinch River Bridge to Edgemoor Road (TN-170). Exit on your right and continue 2.3 miles to the first light. Turn right at Melton Lake Drive. The race site is 2.2 miles on your right.

Take I-75 north (toward Knoxville) to Exit 84 onto I-40 East. Go to Exit 376 (Maryville/Oak Ridge) toward Oak Ridge on the Pellissippi Parkway (TN-162N). Follow the directions from the WEST to the race site.

Take Highway 129 to Interstate 140 (toward Oak Ridge). Travel 11 miles to merge onto Pellissippi Parkway (TN-162N). Follow the directions from the WEST to the race site.

| ** NOTE ** | The team just received an email saying that construction will close part of the routes listed below from both hotels to the race site--but that the construction is expected to be complete by May 10th. In case it is not complete, however, here are alternative directions from both hotels. This route is a bit slower, but not by much. From the Jameson Inn and also the Hampton Inn, take a right on Oak Ridge Turnpike/TN-95 heading northeast and turn right on Lafayette Drive. Turn left on Emory Valley Drive and follow it to the race site. Emory Valley Road intersects Melton Drive close to where the team boat trailers are housed. Turn left on Melton Lake Drive and then take a right into the parking lot.

| JAMESON INN (many parents are staying either at the Jameson Inn or the Hampton Inn) | From Ann Arbor to the Jameson Inn: Take I-75 south to Exit 122 (Norris/Clinton) and head toward Oak Ridge on Clinton Highway, TN-61. After about 0.3 miles, turn right at TN-61 West. Continue about 10.6 miles to the Oak Ridge Turnpike/TN-95. Drive about 4.2 miles to a left turn at South Rutgers Avenue. The Jamison Inn is located at 216 S. Rutgers Avenue. From the Jameson Inn to the Race Site (Melton Lake): Take the Oak Ridge Turnpike/TN-95 about three miles and turn right at Melton Lake Drive. Continue nearly a mile on Melton Lake Drive to the race site on the left. Note: You also may take Emory Valley Road directly to the race site from the hotel. It goes through a residential area, though, which may be a slower trip.

| HAMPTON INN (many parents are staying either at the Jameson Inn or the Hampton Inn) | From Ann Arbor to the Hampton Inn: Follow the above directions to the Jameson Inn. From the Oak Ridge Turnpike/TN-95, turn left at Raccoon Road. Go about 0.3 miles to a left on South Illinois Avenue. The Hampton Inn is located at 208 S. Illinois Avenue. From the Hampton Inn to the Race Site (Melton Lake): Take the Oak Ridge Turnpike/TN-95 about 4.5 miles and turn right at Melton Lake Drive. Continue nearly a mile on Melton Lake Drive to the race site on the left. Note: You also may take Emory Valley Road directly to the race site from the hotel. It goes through a residential area, thuogh, which may be a slower trip. |
