If you have an excused absence---meaning you had a legitimate reason for
not attending (=death in family, illness, or having another exam), then
your assignment will be to write a 2 page summary on the topic that the
class you missed covered.  This 2 page summary should include info. from
the book and lecture.   You may use outside sources as well---but please
cite them.

If you do not have an excused absence (meaning you never talked to me
about missing, or you don't fall into the excused absence category), then
your assignment is to find a research (journal) article on some aspect of
the topic you missed and write a 2-3 page summary of it.  The questions
you will need to answer for this assignment are the same as those you will
have to answer for the group presentation article summary----so look at
those to guide you.

If you have any questions as to whether you have an excused or unexcused
absence----email me and I will let you know.

These make-up assignments are due in section---either 4/4 or 4/5 depending on what day you meet.
