About Us

The Michigan Skydive club was founded in 2006 to bring together those individuals who have grown to love Skydiving or are interested in experiencing what the sport has to offer.

Skydiving can be an exhilerating and rewarding experience of which there is no substitute. You learn to become part of a unique and diverse community that does not stop at the dropzone but spans all over the nation and world. This community is one that is willing to help you to learn about the sport, life, and yourself. It can be just a hobby or turn into a lifestyle depending how much you are looking to put in to and get out of the sport.

Michigan Skydive and BASE is an organization with the purpose of introducing the students at the University of Michgan to the world of skydiving as well as being a group designed for and run by fellow jumpers. Whether you are looking to see what the world of skydiving is like, looking to make your first tandem jump, or wanting to find other jumpers that have found their way into the sport we are the club for you.

If you're interested in visiting the dropzone and seeing what skydiving is all about, feel free to come out with one of the members and have a look. At least one licensed skydiver will be making the trip out there on weekends to enjoy the atmosphere and make a handfull of jumps. For more information on who will be going out to the dropzone contact one of the members and they will get you in contact with someone or check out the message board and leave a message there.

The dropzone in Tecumseh (Skydive Tecumseh) will act as the clubs home dropzone. For directions just check out Tecumseh's website, if you still aren't sure or would like a ride feel free to contact someone by email or message on the message board.

If you have questions or are interested in joining feel free to contact us.
