Milonga Workshops with Angel Garcia Clemente

Purpose

The purpose of progressive classes is to provide dancers an opportunity to acquire skills over a period of two weeks instead of an intensive weekend. While the emphasis of these workshops will be on dancing milonga, the vocabulary and skills learnt in these workshops can be easily used for other musical genres - tango and vals.

About Angel

Originally from Mexico and currently residing in New York, NY, Angel Garcia is an extremely versatile dancer and choreographer. Apart from dancing tango/milonga/vals at a world class level he has a special interest and specializes in Latin American Folk dances including dances from Mexico and Argentina.

Angel has been an invited teacher in Cincinnati, Cleveland, San Francisco and Portland. More importantly Angel is a semi-permanent fixture in the Detroit Metro's tango community and his classes are very popular.
