Programs & Courses

Thanks to feedback from hundreds of class participants, HRD’s curriculum has grown to include over 100 personal and professional development opportunities. These programs and courses are designed to be relevant—providing skills you can apply directly to your work—and reasonably priced. The instructors are knowledgeable and small class size creates more meaningful interactions and enhances learning.

A partnership between HRD and Michigan Administrative Information Services (MAIS) has created an online course registration system that maintains a personal training history for every staff member. Named “My LINC” (My Learning and Information Center), this system is an expansion of the MAIS LINC site. My LINC provides a single access point for online registration for both MAIS and HRD courses and includes a MAIS LINC category, which continues to provide training, documentation, and communications for M-Pathways, eMploy, and the U-M Data Warehouse.

You can browse for HRD courses at both the HRD website and My LINC. We encourage you to look over the online listings to view new and improved offerings. Each course listing gives you a summary of the course, learning objectives and what specific skills you can expect to gain. If you would like a copy of the HRD print catalog, join the HRD mailing list and one will be sent to you when they are available.

Thank you for your interest in HRD. We look forward to serving you soon, because when you choose to learn, you choose success.
