MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

REGULAR MEMBERS: faculty (defined as members of the teaching and research staff, executive officers, directors of various teaching, research and library units, research associates, curators, persons with similar duties and all persons who have retired from these positions). In addition, regular memberships includes women who are current or former wives or domestic partners of individuals in the above positions. Annual dues $25.

HONORARY MEMBERS: a UM president, regent or administrative head of any branch campus of the University of Michigan and any wife or domestic partner of one of these individuals. In addition, certain Honorary Members have been members in good standing for fifty years ("Golden Members"). Finally, a woman who has served FWC and/or the University of Michigan in a special capacity may be designated a "Special Lifetime Member" by the FWC. Honorary members are not required to pay membership dues.

FRIEND MEMBERS: any woman who supports the mission of the FWC, who is attending at least one of the interest sections as a guest of a Regular Member or Honorary Member and who has paid FWC and section (if any) membership dues. Annual dues $25.

DUES: $25 (payable to FWC) due on or before September 21. Dues are used to cover expenses that benefit our members, and newcomers activities which welcome new members to our community.
