Graphing in Polymath™ 6.1

Make sure that the "Graph" button is active, and then click the right arrow button to solve the problem.

You can left-click and drag the Graph Title and Legend Box (contains Fa, Fb, and Fc) to better locations. The pull-down "Option" menu allow graph options such as text and font specification. Many other options are available from the pull-down menu. The 7th and 8th icons in the side bar in the graph window are the same formating options.

A Double click with the left mouse on the Legend Box (or the 7th side bar icon that looks like curves on a graph or the "Curves" from the "Options" pull-down menu) allows convenient selection of the problem variables for graphing. Just check the boxes next to the variables you would like graph by pressing the left mouse button over the box.

Close the Curves window once done.

To Print, size the graph window and make any additional changes needed. Finally, go to the "File" pull-down menu and select Print or select the the 5th icon on the side menu.

Note that the graph can also be copied and placed into other software packages (such as Microsoft Word) by clicking on the 6th side icon to make a copy of the image.
