The Center, including its laboratory, has approximately 3000 sq.ft. of space.

Data acquisition systems:

  1. Peak performance technologies, Inc. system with
    • 3D real-time motion analysis system
    • 3D Automatic video-based motion analysis system (2 cameras)
    • 32 channels analog data acquisition for EMG, force plate, goniometers
    • Motus software
  2. Biofeedback system (custom made) with
    • Real-time data acquisition from goniometers
    • Feedback output to motor
    • ELMIRA software
  3. Generic data acquisition system, Labview based with
    • Real-time data acquisition from goniometers, EMG, force plate
    • Custom made software
  4. CIR Systems, Inc. GAITRite gait analysis system
    • Portable six-sensor GAITRite electronic walkway
    •  GAITRite Silver, Version 2.8 software

Hardware:

  • 1 AMTI force plate
  • 6 EMG channels, Therapeutics Unlimited
  • 1 J-tech strength measurement and training system (on loan)

Computers:

  • 11 PC and 3 printers used for data analysis.

  • 2 infant scales
  • 1 adult scale
  • 2 anthropometric kits with skinfold caliper & anthropometer
  • 2 goniometers
  • 5 video camera (S-VHS Panasonic)
  • 5 VCR, Panasonic
  • 2 monitors, Panasonic
  • 1 adult treadmill
  • 22 baby treadmills
  • 20 Mini Mitter AW-64 Actiwatches
