We are excited to announce that Mark Sampson, Ph.D., will be the new Training Director for our psychology internship, beginning in July, 2010! Dr. Sampson has been our Practicum Coordinator for the past three years, and a member of our Training Committee involved in all aspects of our seven training programs.


Dr. Sampson will assume responsibility for the current national match so that he can start his connection with next year’s interns. Dr. Hays will become the Coordinator of the Post-Doctoral Fellowship and remain active in all aspects of training at CAPS, in addition to her Associate Director responsibilities.

The diverse staff members at Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) are enthusiastic about being mentors and providing training to our clinical psychology, counseling psychology, social work interns, Post Doctorate Fellows, and Post MSW Fellows. Our supervision-intensive program and “open-door” policy provide a warm and supportive atmosphere for this exciting year.
