• Making Michigan History

    President Mark S. Schlissel will be inaugurated as U-M’s 14th president on the afternoon of Sept. 5 at Hill Auditorium. Several public events are scheduled to mark this historic occasion, including public symposia, a community welcome reception and an academic procession on Ingalls Mall.

  • Entering the EEG-EGG

    Lia Min, a Project LIAison fellow sponsored by the Life Sciences Institute and the Stamps School of Art & Design, created an exhibit exploring the intersection of neuroscience and art. Her fellowship is part of U-M’s efforts to bring the life sciences and art closer together.

  • National Champs

    The U-M Solar Car Team has won the American Solar Challenge for the fifth consecutive time. Michigan raced its car, Quantum, against 22 other teams of college students in the 1,700-mile race, which happens every other year on a different course.
